From Inviting Foreign Delegations to Preparing Exhibition Space; Shiraz Expo 2025 on the Path to Internationalization

Borna – Provinces Group: On the eve of Shiraz Expo 2025, the CEO of Fars International Exhibitions Company announced the latest measures taken to prepare for this event in an interview.

According to Borna News Agency from Fars, Dr. Mohsen Nahavandi stated: “This exhibition will be held from October 12th to 15th of this year, and in recent months, the executive team of Fars International Exhibitions Company has been working at full capacity to prepare the infrastructure.”

Inviting foreign delegations, creating a platform for B2B meetings, and preparing the exhibition space are among the measures that have been put on the agenda for the proper holding of this event.

According to the CEO of Fars International Exhibitions Company, the process of finalizing the presence of trade delegations from neighboring countries and the Persian Gulf littoral states has reached its final stages.

He added: “These measures are being carried out while the country’s economy is still facing limitations due to sanctions and international pressures. Despite this, we have tried to fulfill the mission of Fars International Exhibition in the field of economic diplomacy and the development of regional cooperation.”

He also referred to infrastructural measures and said: “The launch of the International Affairs Unit in February of last year was one of the company’s important steps to strengthen foreign relations.”

The fruits of this action are now visible in attracting foreign delegations and organizing international cooperation, and Shiraz Expo will be the first arena for these capacities to emerge.

Dr. Nahavandi further noted: “This year’s exhibition is not just a domestic event, but a platform for introducing the economic capacities of Fars Province and Iran, exchanging experiences, and initiating new collaborations with regional partners. We have made every effort to turn this exhibition into a place for constructive interactions and the development of economic relations.”

He concluded by emphasizing the importance of this event: “We hope that Shiraz Expo 2025 can present a new image of the export capabilities of the vast Fars Province and our beloved country Iran, and be a turning point in the country’s economic interactions with the region.”
