During a meeting between Dr. Mohsen Nahavandi, CEO of Fars International Exhibitions Company, and Dr. Mohammad Reza Rezaei, Head of the Parliament’s Civil Engineering Commission, the latest plans and executive measures for holding the grand Shiraz Expo 2025 event were outlined.

According to Payam Khabar, in the meeting between Dr. Mohsen Nahavandi, CEO of Fars International Exhibitions Company, and Dr. Mohammad Reza Rezaei, Head of the Parliament’s Civil Engineering Commission, the latest plans and executive measures for holding the grand Shiraz Expo 2025 event were outlined.

Dr. Rezaei welcomed the holding of Shiraz Expo 2025 and said: “The absence of such an event in the province was always felt, and today we witness the determination and will of provincial officials and Fars International Exhibitions Company who have operationalized the holding of this international event.”

The Head of the Parliament’s Civil Engineering Commission stated that Shiraz Expo can play a role in neutralizing economic sanctions and strengthening economic diplomacy, adding: “Introducing and presenting domestic capabilities in regional markets and developing non-oil exports can lead to an improvement in the country’s economic standing in the region.”

Referring to the outstanding capacities of the country and Fars Province in the construction sector, he added: “This event paves the way for introducing and showcasing the engineering and construction capabilities of the country and Fars Province, such that it will open the door for increased regional cooperation with neighboring countries.”

It is worth mentioning that the Shiraz International Expo will be held from October 12th to 15th at the Fars International Permanent Exhibition Center with the aim of introducing Iran’s and Fars Province’s export capabilities to neighboring countries and the Persian Gulf littoral states, with the presence of over 300 foreign delegations.
